Larry Crowne & Toy Story 3

April 30, 2010

First of all, we'd like to wish a Happy Anniversary to Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson for their 22 years of marriage. They got married on April 30, 1988.

Julia Roberts started filming Larry Crowne yesterday. We've added a few photos featuring Tom Hanks in our gallery.

Grace Gummer, Meryl Streep's daughter, confirmed that she joined the cast of Larry Crowne as one of the students that attends the class of Julia Roberts's character with Larry Crowne (Tom Hanks).
Another actor to join the cast is Rob Riggle.
Note that from the previous interview we added to the audio clips, we know that George Takei will play Dr. Matsunani, the economics teacher.

There will be a Special 3D Gala Screening of Toy Story 3 at the Edinburgh Film Festival, on June 19th, 2010. The audience in Edinburgh will be the first in the UK to see Toy Story 3 in 3D after its opening in the United States the previous day.

Disney/Pixar released a new internet trailer for Toy Story 3, a few days ago, that you can watch it below.

And note that the Sapphire 2-Disc Special Edition of Saving Private Ryan Blu-Ray will be released in a few days, on May 4th, 2010.

TOM: I am a 6th cousin of a primary aide to Abe Lincoln, Elmer Ellsworth. Google him for info...I also have Penn genealogy (Penn family of Pennsylvania). An obit of my gr.gr.g-pa says he was a cousin of Mary Todd. I am trying to verify that. What I am saying is that I wonder if you'd do a movie on Abe, Elmer, and Mary...there is a great book by Mary's niece, who cleans up the reputation of Mary...that would be good to do...Elmer brought alot of light into the lives of the Lincolns...seems like the Lincolns had more than their share of gloom...I also met a Penn cousin in KY, who runs PENNS STORE outside of Lexington. It is a national historical site, being the oldest store in the country owned and operated by members of the same family as back then...they have had a huge flood that has damaged it, and are looking for fund raising activities...this has become a HUGE country music mecca, with festivals, etc. We are currently trying to locate Loretta Lynn to do a concert there to help...My Penn cousins say that they are ALSO RELATED TO THE SPARROW FAMILY, WHO RAISED NANCY HANKS, MOM TO ABE LINCOLN. SO, they are wondering if you can help out in any way. Currently, they have had Jerry Bruckheimer come forward to help out...What do you think?
THANKS!!! PATTY TINSLEY
