First of all you may want to check the USA Weekend Magazine for some information about Tom Hanks. Here's what looks like what's coming up next week in the magazine :

USA WEEKEND Magazine: Families, start your engines. As the Daytona 500 kicks off the racing season, three hot NASCAR drivers tell us that their kids are a part of the team. A lively poster captures the families of Michael Waltrip, Jeff Burton and Juan Pablo Montoya. Plus, comic Sarah Silverman sashays into a new movie, Tom Hanks works behind the scenes these days, Gunsmoke star James Arness is alive and kicking at 86, and author Joe Hill recalls a concert he attended with his famous dad, Stephen King. Also, learn three smart secrets to saving money.

Talking about behind-the-scenes work... Universal Pictures has bought the domestic distribution rights to Larry Crowne and Summit International will be handling sales of the foreign rights at the Berlin International Film Festival.

HBO released an extended trailer for its miniseries The Pacific which begins airing weekly March 14. It must be the best trailer so far.

The miniseries premiere will take place at San Diego’s USS Midway Museum on February 25. County Supervisor Greg Cox said some of “The Pacific” actors will be on hand for the invitation-only screening, to be attended by veterans and members of the local military community. San Diego will be one of 15 cities participating in the national launch of the miniseries. You can also see four official posters in the gallery.
