Note also that My Life in Ruins produced by Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson will be relased on DVD and Blu-Ray on October 6 by Fox Home Entertainment.

Paramount will release Forrest Gump on Blu-Ray on November 3. Two special editions will be available :
  • The Sapphire Series "will capitalize on the pristine picture and sound of the Blu-ray format to present each cinematic gem in the highest quality for the first time in two-disc, high definition sets." Celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2009, Forrest Gump will feature new material including a brand new roundtable discussion.
  • Chocolate Box Giftset edition (both Blu-ray and DVD) with a tasty 11-ounce collection of various chocolate snacks. The 2-Disc Blu-ray Chocolate Box Giftset will be available for a suggested retail price of $44.99, and the 2-Disc DVD Chocolate Box Giftset @ $29.99.

You can find more details as well as contact information about Tom Hanks' return to Great Lakes Theater Festival on their official website. Tickets for the evening go on sale to the general public on September 12th. This is strange. After all of your movies I have watched, it just now realized that you are my favorite actor(period). I am not a big fan of movies and such, but I love at least a few(Forrest,Green Mile, Saving Private Ryan) and appreciate the rest. Thanks.
