A first preview of Tom Hanks as McAlary making his Broadway debut in Lucky Guy has been revealed by Broadwayworld.com. In this 11-minute video, we can see a series of quick extracts followed by four different scenes, also starring Peter Scolari, Maura Tierney, Courtney B. Vance, Christopher McDonald, Peter Gerety... Beware: explicit language is used. The play may be inappropriate for 16 and under.

Tom Hanks's debut in Broadway seems to draw a crowd. According to the ticket sale data released on March 11, by the Broadway League of theater owners and producers, the Lucky Guy play in its first week made more than $1 million, grossing $1,109,678 for seven performances.
The play is the fourth top-grossing show behind the top three blockbusters Wicked, The Book of Mormon, and a story about The Lion King.
We remind you that preview performances run until April 1, which is opening night. Even though the play will then run until June 16 at the Broadhurst Theater, Tom Hanks is due to leave the play on May 26.

Tom Hanks is less than a week away from making his Broadway debut in Lucky Guy, a play written by Nora Ephron.
