Tom Hanks, executive producer, and the team being Game Change accepted the award for Outstanding Miniseries or Made for Television Movie. Last night, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson hosted the 22nd Annual Simply Shakespeare and led the staged-reading of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Other participants included Billy Crystal, William Shatner, Martin Short, Topher Grace, Gillian Jacobs, Eddie Redmayne, Cedric the Entertainer, Paul Dooley, Olivia Thirlby and Alan Tudyk. We've added photos of the event to our gallery.

The 22nd Annual Simply Shakespeare Celebrity Reading raised money for the Shakespeare Centre Los Angeles, an organization which creates literary programs to help impoverished students.

On September 19, Tom Hanks was the host for the 1st Annual Circle of Hope Gala, a charity event which raises money for One Mind Research to help find a cure for brain diseases. Glenn Close and Gena Rowlands were also attending. You can watch three videos, including an interview made by Hollywood TV.
